Any advice on where to buy decently priced nuts in Dublin? Buying mixed bags at the moment, ALDI, LIDL etc, looking for bags of brazilnuts, hazelnuts and walnuts, if possible.

    Thanks in advance,

They used to sell walnuts in Lidl, but it appears they are having a problem with the supplier. Haven't been able to find them anywhere else at a decent price.

Im sure u'd get them in a health store but maybe expensive..

Thanks rockdrummer4. Have seen bags of nuts on special in Holland & Barrett a few times, but they always seem to be pistachio. A very nice nut, but not a hazel / brazil / walnut :D

Yeah easy to get pistachios, can get bags of them in Lidl and Tesco - have been looking for walnuts myself....

H&B are doing their 1c sale again, here's their selection.

Lidl do great walnuts and brazil nuts and pistachios - but I haven't seen hazelnuts there… anyone? Anywhere? Would like to cook fried-up chopped brussels sprouts with candied bacon and hazelnuts.

Aldi do whole and chopped hazel nuts in usually around where the baking stuff is.

Also sell bags of Brazil, almond, cashew nuts for 1.49 in Dealz in Blanch in the retail park.

In LIDL this morning - they have *HUGE* sacks of pistachios and walnuts, scoop your own little bag etc.
Didn't see the price, but imagine its cheaper this way than packed.
