    So was there ever a girl that you wanted desperately but you knew there was no chance. I remember a girl called kayleigh, i was 12 she was 14, had a bf, if i had of owned a guitar at the time i would have written some truly godawful songs about her.:D

    When I was 12, I may have cried a tear or two over a girl from Australia.
    She was a few years older than me and was a trainee mechanic.
    Used to just stare longingly at her whenever I could.

    I think her real name was "kay lee" or something like that.

    Fish (the guy who wrote it) says he constantly has women call Kayleigh coming up to him and telling him that she was named because of that song. I'd imagine it makes a man feel old.

    Back when I was a teen I was a punk, there was this 1 girl, she did ballet what more can I say? All of here friends stuck up their noses because of my baggy clothes. Secretly I think she wanted me too.

    Its 5 years now and she just sits at home feeding her baby and shes all alone. She saw me on MTV and came to my concert but I'm dating Avril Lavigne.
