perfectly ok but at 250kcals it's only about an eighth of the food you need to eat for the day. gotta make sure the rest of it is ok too.

    Thanks for the replys!

whoo thats me lunch for tomorrow sorted then!

as for what else i eat
    breakfast is always the same
    Porridge 30grams with water
    blueberries
    and boiled eggs (whites only)

Dinner is what i always have a prob with, I want tasty without loads of carbs and kals

tonight was thinking of having grilled turkey breast
with aubergine and asparagus (baked with little olive oil)

    any good?

imo....too few cals.you'll stick to it for a few days max then crash and stuff your face.
take a half hour to calculate how much you need to eat. plan your whole weeks eating tonight.buy the food you need and don't deviate from it.don't cheat till you can get at least one week under your belt.

Well done for implementing changes to your diet. That's the first step to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

I would advise you though to try to establish a diet plan that is sustainable, rather than planning on sticking rigidly to a restrictive diet for ten weeks.

Best of luck. I hope that you achieve your goals for Christmas.

I thought Tuna had some Omega 3 content!
    Anything processed is generally bad
Try eating dinner in the middle of the day
Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, dinner like a pauper!
    (food intake ~ energy needs)
Oh, watch out for low fat stuff, it general has sugar added!
Stick to food stuff that's not in a packet

    Great advice, Mark.

Max, this is quite long, but, really worth reading.

He wants to lose weight, hence the calorie deficit.

That looks great, Max, nice and healthy.

A good trick is to have a 'cheat meal' once a week while on a restrictive diet. Don't go crazy on calories, but, do spoil yourself a bit. It'll just make it easier to maintain the diet as a whole.

    Best of luck.

    cheers guys,

    thanks for the info,

as for cheat meals, If i have one cheat meal i will have one
    two three.............

i think i might have hummus or grilled goats cheese once a week
that will feel like a reward!

    Good idea.

Just try to treat yourself a little bit - it'll make the diet easier to stick to.

Or worse, aspartame which causes a whole range of disorders.

OP, have you tried quinoa. It's packed with protein and great in salads with rice.

    Awesome bro!!! 41.5kgs!

This kinda worries me though. I'm in the middle of losing that sort of weight. I weighed about 135kgs in october and I'm down to 119kgs. Probably another 20/24kgs to go before I'm happy.

Excess skin would be a real worry for me though. Do you mind me asking if you're planning to have it removed surgically (which is pretty much all you can do)? Obviously it doesn't put me off losing the rest of my excess weight but I'd certainly like to plan for it....financially if nothing else!

    hey gavman,

I am looking at that at the mo, tho i think i am lucky, because it does not seem like to much excess skin, just a little on my stomach, I am going meet a doctor next week to discuss options and prices etc, but if i am to do it i decided it will be next jan or feb, so my body has time to adjust to new weight etc. Visually the loose skin looks ok! but to touch it aint want i want.
I have no loose skin in arms or chest, just really around belly button.

so hopefully with another 6-8 months or hard work by body will have tighten naturally to the point i am happy with and wont want surgery.

I really think surgery should be last resort, it will leave a scar which i def dont want! But i will meet the doctors to discuss options.
