Creating PDF on Campus?

Is it possible to create a pdf on campus or any of the college networks? ISS's website says that none of the computer rooms have Adobe Professional and it's not availible to download for students. The price runs into the hundreds on their website. People must need to do this occasionally? How do they do it?

When saving a word document using ms word change the file type to pdf, its there in the drop down box under the place where you type the filename. If the college hasn't got the right version of word then downlaod cutepdf.

Word 2007 should have a PDF option somewhere near where you save in the ribbon thing. PDFs can also be created in the Mac version of Office, through the printing options, I think.

Adobe Acrobat Professional is just that: for Professionals. It's for creating commercial-quality PDFs. It's like the difference between Photoshop and MS Paint.

You can use OpenOffice.org or LibreOffice, both of them allow you to save as PDF

Boardsie Enhancement Suite - a browser extension to make using Boards on desktop a better experience (includes full-width display, keyboard shortcuts, dark mode, and more). Now available through your browser's extension store.

You could just use a Mac, click print as usual and then in the print dialog you use the PDF button on the bottom left. Works in every application

Latest versions of Office should have a save as pdf option and it works windows and mac

Really? You don't have a "How to save documents as PDFs in MS Word" course like the rest of us do?

Open your document on a mac, click print, then click 'Save as PDF'.

Oh yea, if you upload to google docs, and then download as PDF, that's the long way round but it's free and you don't need to install anything!
