    Hi

So yesterday out of curiosity and boredom i taught i would put my food intake into FITDAY to see how much of my Recommended Daily allowance i have taken in. Apart from Vit D which was at 48% i managed to meet and exceeded the RDA.

Does it matter what foods you eat as long as you are meeting and exceeding the RDA?

You'll probably find a few people here who have things to say about the RDA, but we won't start that.

In general, you have a wide choice of foods which can provide a healthy diet which meets the RDA. You'll probably find that the more unprocessed the foods, the better you'll feel on them, and the quicker you'll hit your RDA.

I have reservations about things like cereals which have added vitamins.
