    Hi all

I am really interested in doing the PGdip in education with Languages in UL next year but would love to do a Masters in the whole area of teaching languages or applied linguistics.

With most taught Masters programmes I have looked at you can get a Postgraduate Diploma if you just complete the taught modules and do not do the thesis. Taking this into account, would it be possible to apply to do a thesis which could be added to the PGdip in Education and Languages to get an MA aswell as the PG diploma?
