Generally about 10%, 12% if the cow is exceptional.

I prefer fly tipping, much easier to do.

I remember, when we were yung'uns, we would be "bushing" in some field and some of the boys would always have to go cow tipping, don't think they were ever successful though! Oh, the memories.....

    No.

I live in a city so the last cow I spotted was shrink wrapped on a shelf in Tesco.

I thought this was a myth

Used to do this all the time. I grew up in rural Ireland where there was no pubs or clubs. On a Saturday evening we'd get dressed in our best clobber and hit the fields for a night of cow tipping. Happy days.

I often do it! I'd normally leave him about a 15% Tip :)

Cow tipping is a myth. Rural people know it's a myth but like to keep it going in the hope that some silly city folk will actually try and tip over resting cows.

Grew up on a farm and never heard of cow tipping until I went to work in Dublin.

Yeah I grew up on a farm as well. my Dublin cousins used to try to convince me it was possible. I'd never heard of anyone doing it successfully so I had always just assumed it was a myth.

    So is the OP spoofing

I'm from Dublin cows just scare the shyte out of me

They are fearsome beasts, with huge horns and sharp teeth, who would ever think that such a delightful thing as a burger would come out of them.

Farmers and the OP must be very brave people.

I think the word you're looking for is 'mammal'

    And a cow's a herbivore.

I never heard such a thing, never knew it existed only that I read it in a fictional book and assumed that sort of thing was fictional and not true!?

Don't kid yourself Chinasea. If a cow ever got the chance, he'd eat you and everyone you care about!

As a country fellow, I find it funny that people think a cow is stuck if it's on its' back
