did anyone ever partake in this ancient tradition??
when i stayed out in mates place in Delvin as a teenager we used to sneak out to give cow a tip and land him on the ground but it was difficult to sneak up on them.. they have good hearing...

anyone ever successful??

I remember, when we were yung'uns, we would be "bushing" in some field and some of the boys would always have to go cow tipping, don't think they were ever successful though! Oh, the memories.....

Used to do this all the time. I grew up in rural Ireland where there was no pubs or clubs. On a Saturday evening we'd get dressed in our best clobber and hit the fields for a night of cow tipping. Happy days.

Yeah I grew up on a farm as well. my Dublin cousins used to try to convince me it was possible. I'd never heard of anyone doing it successfully so I had always just assumed it was a myth.
