extra nics for laptop

    hi guys

    im trying to install esx 5.0 on my laptop - i only have 1 nic in it but would like to add 3 others. is there any way of doing this or whats the best way to do this

    can i add 3 usb nics to the laptop and esx will pick them all up?

    Easiest way to do that is install ESXi 5.0 as a VM in VMware Workstation - but you would need to buy that first.

    I'm not sure installing ESXi 5.0 directly onto a laptop is possible, or whether it's a good idea. The hardware requirements are pretty tight.

    Should have googled first :-) Try the free VMware player maybe? It's easy to add multiple virtual NICs to a VM ...
