Estonia and Montenegro are beatable over two legs. The Czechs were almost beaten by Scotland last month, there are nowhere as good as they were.

Martin Lipton is saying Bosnia are seeded along with us and the Czech Republic are not but the FAI are saying different. There seems to be a bit of confusion.

I wouldn't trust the FAI so i'll wait for UEFA clarification.

The funny thing is the unseeded teams more then likely will want to face us. We are kinda the Estonia of the seeded teams.

UEFA coeffs only relate to competitive games, not friendlies. And done over last three cycles, not last four years

He is still saying that he thinks Bosnia are seeded.

In all this confusion all I got to say is, UEFA are useless when it comes to getting information out there.

Sky seem to be going by the FIFA ranking rather than the UEFA ranking. It should be the UEFA one.

You are right, 30,000 for winning plus a 10,000 playing bonus plus 501 points per goal. so 40,000ish divided by the number of games in the group 8-10 multiplied by the the weighting of 40%.

So a 1-0 win in a 6team group gets you

40,501/10 = 4050.1
4050.1 x 0.4 = 1620.04

Estonia or Montenegro are our only hopes of qualifying I'd say,and even then I wouldn't be too confident judging by the standard of our recent displays.Think we used all of our luck up tonight too so we'll probably end up drawing Turkey.

I think we could go through against any of the unseeded teams. Obviously with this Irish team it will be a close run thing but we have a great chance.
