Hi

Anyone know where I can buy some of these in Dublin?

Sister was going into boots yesterday and asked there for me. She said the pharmacist told her abruptly that Boots doesn't stock that type of product, even though they sell Atkins food and every other fad diet out there.

I doing CKD and just want them for random tests or after carb up day.

A friend of mine was told he needed a prescription for them before! He went to the pharmacy 500 metres down the road & got them! Madness!!
Most pharmacies will stock them afaik? Boots are a joke!!

Of course Boots stock them. All pharmacies do. One tried to ask me for proof I was diabetic because "dieters are abusing them in order to do extreme diets". I said I wanted one to make sure I didn't do an extreme diet, and they sold them to me.

They cost about €8 for a tub of 50.

After carb-up, watch the scales. A sudden drop of the carb-up weight is your body going back into ketosis. Women will typically drop 2-4lb after a carb-up, a big bodybuilder can drop up to 15lb.

I don't understand that when they sell loads of Atkins products

I'll try a local pharmacy at home and see what they say.

Do you mean a drop from the carb up peak weight, or the pre carb up weight. i'm guessing peak
