Thinking of buying a Humax Foxsat hdr Freesat+ HD 500g/1tb Recorder.

A few questions about this device :

1.Can the Humax record to an external hard drive?
2.Can recorded programmes be transfered to an external hard drive?
3.Can the Humax record from a UPC/Sky box using Scart?

    Hi there

I have an older 320Gb Foxsat, which I've upgraded to 1Tb. I record a lot of programmes, especially HD, and have not come close to using half the capacity....

    I think the answers are

    1. Not directly, no
    2. Yes, for archive via USB - there are 2 USBs
    3. No; the scart outlet on the Humax is an output only, presumably with a "pass thru" to allow the VCR to connect to the TV via SCART

    Best to check, though...:)
