Backup logs

I'm using CCC to backup my Mac servers in school, (had been using Super Duper before, but the licence for it was my own and I was advised to stop using it).

Anyway I have now been informed that we're going to have to keep logs of the data backups. (yet more red tape) Does anyone know of any other way of getting CCC to produce a confirmation log other than via email, which is the default method. Our ISP seem to be preventing any attempt to connect to outside mail servers. The one they provide, which is a Microsoft Exchange server has been locked down as tight as a drum.

And as I held out against their attempts to get rid of our macs and replace them with rubbish windoze peecees, I don't exactly get a great deal in the way of co-operation from them. So using the email service they provide is going to be a slow going project to say the least.
