    Sat
    14:00 Dundalk ? - ? Derry City setanta
    19:00 Bohemians ? - ? UC Dublin
    19:30 St. Patricks ? - ? Sligo Rovers
    19:45 Galway ? - ? Drogheda United
    October 9
    15:00 Bray Wanderers ? - ? Shamrock Rovers

Sorry rovers but we playing a weakened team as Mulcahy, Mc Faul, Bradley, North, Kavo, O Connor injured.

2 players off under 19s should play as we only have an 18 man 1st team squad. No chance of getting a win unless they implode.

    Leinster Senior Final

Bohs vs St Pats monday, honestly do we have to play this stupid thing?

Fully expect them to be. :)

Was just refering to this weekend.

Leaving out Bradley and O Connor is strengthening your team.:)

Pete is classic small time as ever but we have nobody to blame but ourselves for even needing a result there. Think we have blown it tbh.

Nutsy won't field a weak team as he will no doubt be sending his cv up to tallaght for a second time soon. :)

Would a stream for Dundalk-Derry be floating around?

Saying probably 300 people at the match. Shocking!

0-2 Derry. Stunningly inept marking from a corner.

    2-0 now, criminal defending.

    True.

It's not like him to make snide remarks about people that don't play for Rovers.

Dundalk have given up at this stage, it seems.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,656 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

Yeah they seem to have alright. Not that I'm complaining from a Bray perspective.

Can't disagree with that. It's been a shocking finish to the season. Our last league win was way back in the middle of July against UCD. We've gone 11 games without a win.

Usually a good crowd in Oriel when Derry come to town but today's attendance was dire. Recent form has meant supporters haven't bothered with the team.

Last five games we've conceded 15 and scored just one. Our chairman wants rid and it looks like Foster and our best players, ie Quigley, are heading out the door. Bleak times in Oriel Park.

Foster really is an awful awful manager.

    Knew Pete was bluffing.

Still can't them getting a result from Sligo though.

Shels losing 1-0 to Waterford into the closing minutes.

Cork City will go top if scores stay as is.

Will be an interesting final day in Tolka!!!!

City win 4 nil. Our goal difference is boosted significantly. We are the form team. 6 more points, we win the league.

This has to go down as one of the greatest comebacks/bottle jobs by City/Shels should we win it. They were 10 clear of us 3 or 4 weeks ago.

Can you feel it slip away?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,969 ✭✭✭antomorro-sei

    Shels are fcuking comical.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 21,296 ✭✭✭✭gimmick

Might collect those pints off you afterall Dreamers75!

The dream scenario is back on. We go to Shels last day of the season and beat them into 4th!

How many rounds of games in the 1st division?

Also 1 nil to supersaints :pac:

We also need Monaghan to draw or lose somewhere for us to win the league with 2 wins.

Shels sounded like they could have been 5-0 up at half time. Another thoroughly professional away job from City though. Tolka last day is getting tasty.

The fact that Monaghan have to play Limerick works out great for us. A draw there is the best possible result for us. Id even like to see Limerick win, as that would almost guarantee a straight shootout between ourselves and Shels on the last day.

I do not really care if we win the league or not. promotion is all that counts, but if we could better again.

    1-0 Pats.

I imagine Pete is kicking himself after that one.

Go on the Junkies did us a major favour shut the Bitters up for now,

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 27,252 ✭✭✭✭stovelid

Knew even bitter Pete wouldn't be that silly.

We'll probably go and get thumped tomorrow. Basically we have to win three games out of four now as it stands.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 15,720 Mod ✭✭✭✭dfx-

I've always thought Inchicore is an area of outstanding natural beauty.

It would be a big three points tomorrow if we can actually win in Bray for once.

Pats <3333333 I take back every bad word I've said Pete.

Conor Kenna not doing the Hoops transfer rumour any favours.

Yeah 3 wins and a draw against Derry is enough. That'll do nicely.

Derry still to play us, Pats and Bohs too though so a tough enough run in for them.

We have too, excluding Galway. You know what we're like.

No, Shels deserved to be 1-0 up at half time. That's it. 2nd half performance was a total fycking disgrace.

Top of the league - gotta love it really! I don't think we will win it - but going to Shels on the last day could be seriously interesting!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,314 ✭✭✭BOHtox

Good solid performance from Bohs tonight. Could (should) have been 1,2,3 more though with a wrongly disallowed goal and Bisto blasting a penalty over the bar. HOWEVER, Graham Kelly is the worst referee I have ever seen. Give me Richie ****ing Winters anyday. And don't think you got away with it, completely incompetent Linesmen. A high ball came to Keith Buckley who was in about 10 yards free space. Bucko heads the ball out of play and the Lino, Damian Klier, gives a UCD ball :O He gave offsides all night for ****ing nothing and Rhonda ****ing Daly is the biggest load of **** in football. It's not the first time she's wrongly disallowed a goal in Dalyer, off the top of my head Pats in 09 I think, luckily on that occasion the ref was slightly less incompetent than her. Rhonda Daly, Graham Kelly and Damian Klier should seriously consider that their changing profession.

Really, they had 2 1 on 1's with the keeper and a missed penalty, and 2 other good chances I can remember Extratime.ie describing. But either way ya it sounded like they couldnt keep it up in the second half

Waterford dropped deeper in the 2nd half and our 3-5-2 formation became useless as the wing backs couldn't support the front two quick enough. The change to 4-4-2 needed to happen about 15 mins before it actually did. Woulda have been 0-0 at that stage too. Also, the Waterford number 5 was sensational tonight and fully deserved his goal and is definitely MOTM.

    a wrongly disallowed goal.

Second week in a row. This was worse, I could see that one from where I was sat up near the halfway line.

Flood's penalty was one of the worst I've ever seen. A chap behind us was shouting for Murphy to go up and take it, Murphy's shrug of the shoulder's after Flood spooned it was pretty funny.

Jaysis we showed how to stop sligo tonight, let them have the ball and play all the ****ing pretty football thay want, but seriously if you dont shoot it means **** all.

They dominated the 1st half and had one shot, we dominated most of the 2nd and had no shots(fairly sure our goal was an OG). What did they do? Play pretty football where we let them, last 10 they upped it a bit and hit the bar and post but seriously. All well and good playing pretty football but without shots on target its fairly ****ing pointless. |They stuck the racist up front and not once crossed the ball to him.

They had 3 shots on target, honeslty dont think we had 1.

A poor pats team out tonight, Shamrocks would have went for the kill early and not waited till the last 10 minutes to try and win.

Not really our problem who wins the league.

5-0 is pushing it, but we should have been winning easily at HT.

Took them until injury time to beat nine men in Tallaght too, they have an appalling chance-to-goal ratio..Bohs can follow the template...

Surely Shels aren't going to fall short of top spot again..are they..surely. :pac:

Really glad we don't have to go to yours again this season (and delighted Derry do) and that's a compliment.
