    I don't wish.

Does like liking involve following them on twitter and not ignoring them on facebook?

Or is it about oral sex and heroin?

You'll have to forgive me for asking.

I'm not down with the kids any more.

    Get your heart broken?

Confront your mate about it maybe? If you like somebody enough, don't give a fcuk about who else likes her.

    Sounds like 14 year olds.

"I like her, so you can't have her"

    Fk that sheeet...

No what I mean is two people who are friends fancying the same person at the same time or one person fancying two people at the same time that happen to be friends/best friends!? Nothing else.

It only matters when your young and have a 'code'. When your old (and desperate) its every girl/guy for themselves and if you lose a few mates along the way, so be it.

    Get your heart broken?

Not necessary but I have been in the middle of it like that. Where a friend and myself like the same guy or that a guy fancies both of us and one of us is second best that sort of thing despite him wanting both of us he could only have of us.

Ok make it a fun thread. No quips or innuendoes or bashing/mocking stuff.

Confront your mate about it maybe? If you like somebody enough, don't give a fcuk about who else likes her.

Have done and not done depends on the friend and the guy in question.

Why has it to be complicated like that arragh! The inspiration for the thread came from Friend's (Ross and Rachael Thing) and Made in Chelsea where there is a similar predicament. Long term friends both fancy each other but don't like it when they see the other with a partner. Their past partners are threatened by the close friendship/relationship which causes a lot of their break ups with their partners. Both have strong feelings for each other but don't pursue it. One confesses their dying love for the other and well nothing happens other than a kiss and one of them ones off. Comes back from their time away and well the tension and flirting strong feelings come back. I am unsure what way it goes yet as its only into the 3rd episode of the second series.

Aha, no but not far from there!

Ok follow the sentence for what you would continue with the sentence 'don't you find it a nuisance when...fill in the rest that is what I meant! So as not to go off track!

That sort of thing has happened too. But hasn't happened all the time. Might vary from guy to guy that we know and meet on nights out like!
Say one guy me and my friend might both like but only likes one of us, say one guy likes both me and my friend but prefers my friend better or that well sloppy seconds comes into place/2nd best sort of thing. And that a guy likes both of us like fancy both of us but can't decide which of us he wants. Or that we both happen to fancy the same fella at the same time can get awkward.

I have seen the final episode of friends yes. Rachael goes on a flight to france, ross figures out she still loves him and realises he wants to make a go of things with her despite the rest of the gang's doubts. Anyway, ross runs after rachael in the hope of catching her before her flight. He thinks he missed her to say good bye but rachael gets off the plane! They get together then again I suppose despite already having a baby together! I quiet liked Ross, I liked all the characters on friends. No I am unaware of how the made in chelsea pans out while I do know with 'Friends' yes.

Ya I am a chick, I know the username could show either way!

That guy is in the past for a reason. I didn't want our friendship to stand in the way. He fancies her more despite having been with him myself but she didn't want anything to do with him. He is still chasing after her but I don't want him. That's way in the past. She isn't single so she can't do anything about it.

Though a friend of mine did cop off with a lad and they just were friends then months later I meet him and kiss him and we hitted off but feel like I was really the next best thing to him really.

I understand the concept of sloppy seconds but I view it as 'being second best' or second person chosen and not being someone's first choice. And that someone copped off with and kissed say and then goes off and kisses/cops off with someone else so the second person they are with is the sloppy seconds or that the person that has already been kissed goes and kisses someone else and that person is the sloppy seconder or that the person who has already kissed them and then kisses a different person the same night?

I am getting confused!? Enlighten me ronin!?

    One word: Robbery.

Also if you're really hard up head out in Galway tonight. I hear the annual slut convention is on, they're all gaggin' for it.

If someone likes both you and your friend it actually just means they are horny.

Either one of you will do.

Robbery what do you mean by that? I have heard its on but seriously nah they wouldn't be?! no, no way!?

Anyway's I am a good bit away from Galway so won't be venturing up there any time soon.

FYI 'I am not gagging for it as I have nothing to gag about or haven't missed out on that sort of thing cause I have nothing to miss out on when you haven't experienced it'. You don't miss that you don't have or haven't had!

That isn't always the case they always prefer my friend over me. Though one guy would try it on with me if they failed to try it on with my friend that is more likely to happen but if they didn't fail to try it on with my friend then well I am out. So no I wouldn't do for them as they be a bit too besotted with my friend to care!

A robbery is when you take the girl of your mate. You need to brush up on your game a bit, I suggest you download a documentary called "Jersey Shore", it's very good.

I am a woman and like men so in this context I take a guy of my mate, I need to brush up my game. I am sick of playing games though, done so in the past and I don't like it.

I have been watching Made in Chelsea so maybe I might watch Jersey Shore so...might give me a few tips. Clean innocent fun but no mind games though I do play my cards close to my chest don't always have my cards on the table too soon.

Well despite what wimmins think; most men are not mind readers, subtlety is lost on us for the most part.

If you see a guy and you fancy him, go for it. Forget about your female friends, they'll dump you like yesterdays newspaper as soon as they find a man.

    Winner takes all.

That's not always the case my friends seem to think never let a fella get in the way of friendship and I trust that they are right cause that sort of thing has almost close calls where friendship has been nearly ruined over fellas.

It doesn't bother me if a friend of mine have a boyfriend, if anything I try my best to be pally with them too like so as to make them feel included and not leave anyone out though it feels like the third wheel so what I get to spend time with my friend and my friends gets time with their boyfriends. Though it might bother some of my friends if I hang out with a guy more than them depends on the situation and the guy and the friend and her status.

Or look for more in what way are you talking about? more fish in the sea...what like?

Any of those lad's aren't legends but as stupidusername pointed out that's the most recent predicament I was in recently. Any ways, that lad isn't a legend, he just likes to get his cake and eat it as far as I am concerned a bit greedy. Want's women he can't have and still pursues them and still goes with someone who is single but doesn't want. Whom I don't want any more to do with for other reasons other than he too much of a ladies man if you ask me. So time to move on eh! Moving on to someone better that deserves moi!
