Best way to go about this?

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me, if somebody feels they require an xray on their knee and neck, for problems that a physio may be able to deal with and at the same time needs a blood test for a check up with a specialist, what is the best way to go about it? Through a GP?

So if the patient goes to a GP, can they get a note to get an xray cheaper (free?) from a hospital, then be able to take the xray to the physio who can then work from what they see and in the same visit, the gp take a blood sample who he then sends off to the lab and specialist and then the patient simply visits the specialist who has the results on record and this may all be done in one GP visit for say 60eur, when a bloodtest may cost 50eur in a hospital and xray might cost 70eur each and then they get a general check up included in the 60eur if they have any other issues too.

If anyone can advise on the best route to take for somebody requiring these please do :)
