weight loss help

    Please help!

    Seriously overweight female who is looking for "mentorship" to help her lose weight.

    Tried weight watchers, motivation, unislim, slimming world, simply weight loss and nothing just works for me.

    Would love to have a trainer who will do me up a food plan/exercise plan and someone who i can go to once a week or once every two weeks and get weighed in. I am pretty broke at the minute. most trainers i looked up were charging 50 euro eventhough i am not looking for an actual fitness class... just to be weighed in, motivated and encouraged to help me along the way. all i can afford for weekly meetings is 20 euro. does anyone know anyone who does this. thanks

    By saying "nothing works for me", I think you're starting with a negative outlook on it. Once you've decided that you're losing weight, you'll do it. No 'I'm trying to lose weight for Christmas' etc., if you really want to lose weight, just decide resolutely you're doing it and don't look back. The motivation and work can only come from yourself.
    I myself do unislim and find it great, only because I love junk food, which if you work up your bonus 'yums', you can have treats when you need them. You're limited to 5 low GI carbs, unlimited lean proteins and veg and most fruit etc., and use the "3+2=a new you" 3 meals + 2 healthy snacks, and it does genuinely work. I've lost 3.5 stone since January using unislim, and by writing down my food every day on http://fooddiaries.forumotion.co.uk/#30 (food diary forum that was moved from boards)

    im not sure if i can give you any valuable advice, just to let you know that it can be done, im a male about 5ft 10 and weighed 18 stone at one stage. so at the start of the summer i said enough was enough and embarked on my weight loss quest i started at 17 stone 7 pounds and as as of last friday im now 13 stone 9 pounds and the way i have done this is by first off going for a walk almost every day, im currently walking 4 miles a day takes roughly 1 hr, or if im caught for time i will do 2 miles. theres also loads of little things to get excercise eg parking at the far end of the sumpermarket car park, using the upstairs toilet, or if your at home dancing around the house to the radio, walking to shop instead of driving etc . as regars my diet i cut out practically all junk food over a period of time apart from the odd treat here and there , also im now paying alot more attention to the calories in food, im also drinking about 2 litres of water a day and thying no to eat after 7 in the evening. another thing is im eating a light breakfeast every morning whitch i never did before, aswell as a propper dinner and lunch. loosing weight dosnt have to be a life consuming thing just make a few minor changes to your lifestyle.
    as iv said at the start im not qualified to be giving advice im just letting you know what worked for me . im sure there are people here who will give you some great advice, most of all believe in yourself and take it one step at a time and im positive you will get there eventually
