Can anyone tell me if it's okay to break some of my meals down and eat more regularly during the day? I'm on the Unislim low gi diet and my meal plan has 3 meals and a power snack a day. However, I find the meals quite filling and usually can't finish them. Then, by the time the next meal comes around, I'm ravenous  Seeing as each meal comes with a portion of fruit, would it be ok to save it for mid meal? Or is that a big no-no? I always thought that eating little and often speeds up your metabolism anyway....

It doesn't speed up your metabolism, that's a myth, but it can stabilise your blood sugar if you eat a high GI diet. However, to answer your question, you can eat your food in any number of meals that suit you. If you want to keep your fruit for between meals, that's fine.

I am a Unislim leader and would definitely encourage you to eat more often, you will find it hard to continue on this plan if you are ravenous. Our Food Max Plan that we use at meetings works on the principle that 3+2=a slimmer you, 3 main meals and 2 snacks a day.

Completely off topic, but I just had to say that your post title made me laugh out loud. Thanks for that :)
