watching this on my break here

    wtf, is this for real

are scumbags always on it? you could basically write your own script and it would more likely be on the next episode.

Nah every second Friday they invite members of the aristocracy. Makes for a less entertaining show though.

Jeremy Kyle - now with added monocle.

Frankly I hate the show, and every other show like it.

Yes it's real unfortunately. I find it more depressing to watch than entertaining, it just makes me question as if this is what society has become?

I've actually been in the audience at Jeremy Kyle. It's free to go and went with a few friends. Before they film it a comedian comes up taking the piss out of certain members of the audience and encouraging the crowd to be vocal when filming etc. Then Jeremy Kyle came on and did a similar thing and started taking the piss out of my mate before later moving on to me asking whether the girl who I was sat next to was my girlfriend then I when told him it wasn't he told me "I'm not surprised she's not girlfriend, you'll never get a girl. I mean just look at you!" Was a surreal experience being ripped on by a celebrity in front of about 100 people :D

I can comfortably say he is one yes. The way he treated the members of the crew was very patronising and sarcastic. It was HIS show and he made sure everybody knew it. He picked on a couple in the audience as well asking if they were boyfriend and girlfriend and when they said no asked the lad if he would like to be. Obviously the poor guy was pretty embarrassed and Jeremy Kyle actually got £20 out of his wallet and gave it to him saying taking her out for a drink which I thought was extremely arrogant and was quite intrusive. The ironic thing however I was walking back from Deansgate in Manchester (where it's filmed) and I saw the couple itself walking out of McDonalds sharing a McFlurry together so who knows it could have been the start of a blossoming relationship!

I could be brave and abuse people too if I had burly security guards with me to back me up

The show pulls in the viewers anyway
If I were a producer it could be something you could pitch and sell to TV3, an Irish version

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 34,567 ✭✭✭✭Biggins

He's nothing more than a jumped up, cowardly piece of schite.
Anywhere else in the world, he would be accused of being a bully and kicked the fcuk out of for intimidating/rousing/baiting people.
    Garbage TV for sheep.
    End of story.

Dotrel - thanks for that video :D

Love how Jeremy is all tough etc because he has two burly security guards on standby :D

Yes! and I read somewhere that they wind the people up backstage before they come on saying things that the person onstage is going to say making them angry so they come out all guns blazing

Makes an appearance on all these threads, BBC getting a dig in

They and many before them, agreed to appear on the show?
That would be a big clue to a possible answer.

Usually these only become noticeable because of race mixing. Makes you wonder how many women have kids off different men of the same race and then just lie about it to the 'father'.

I mean thick as it is obvious the baby is not the man's child. The baby is black. The 'possible' dad and the mum are white.

Why do they even need to get a DNA test?

Possibly also for legal reasons to be honest.
There has been extremely rare cases of male/female white parents having dark skinned kids and visa-versa.
Not saying this is the case as above in the video clip - just that nature once in a rare time, throws a wobbler!

Anyway, like I said, for legal reasons alone and absolute rights as regards maintenance, visitation rights, etc, this would probably have to be done.

Considering RTE and Tv3 draw most of their concepts from the UK I would assume its long overdue,

Maybe, but not all people that watch it would go on it, in fairness.

Heard somewhere he once had a serious gambling addiction. What irony that his show is sponsored by online bingo.

I would not willingly watch it. He also had a drug problem allegedly and the affair with the 16yr old girl.
