Thanks, very happy. Not sure if there'd be another 11 at that pace but with race day conditions and atmosphere, fingers crossed you'd never know! Assuming a 26.4 mile marathon allowing for racing line etc.. I'll need 7:12.8 for a pb.

Hard luck yesterday Neil, carrying an injury plus the effects of the weather can't have been easy. Fair play to you for digging in and finishing it, the young lad is very proud of his Daddy today I'm sure.

Thanks guys. Yeah it was a tough day but have to say thoroughly enjoyed the occasion. Injury held up perfectly, fitness level and conditions combined is probably what done me in! It's definitely the toughest course I've ever done but the support the whole way around was amazing!

Well done Neil, was thinking of you and hoping the injury held up and you had a somewhat enjoyable experience. Well done, for a great cause and another one in the bag! Hope yourself & M enjoy the rest of your break and the body is getting plenty of R & R today.
