ahh the joys of stupid time zones

but yeah I'm gonna be up for the night anyways... fell asleep during the Tonga France game last night :( but will keep myself up tonight

all just to build me up for the Ireland game :D gwan Ireland :D

but Argentina Georgia - I like Georgia a lot for some reason.. really hope they can pull a surprise here so a couple more eyes will be opened to them...

there +20 on PP I think that is defo worth a punt...

game for the forwards in store for us anyways... hopefully Argentina don't get an early try or two because that's going to kill the game off... If Georgia can stay in it til half time who knows what could happen...

    Come on Georgia :D:D

Was just thinking there how differently our world cup could have been if we didnt secure that 8th place in the world rankings a couple of years ago ahead of Argentina. We would have been in Argentinas place and vice versa.

Indeed. If we can make it to the final and have a decent six nations we could be top 4 for the next one.

Yeah we would have won the group and faced a completely out of sorts France in the Quarter finals, instead of an very inform Wales :pac:

Poor miss from Contepomi there though it wasn't the easiest of penalties.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 11,465 Mod ✭✭✭✭Hammer Archer

Jaysus that's two shocking misses by Contepomi.

What the arse? Why's there a game on so early?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,889 ✭✭✭tolosenc

No game has waited so long for points so far in the tournament.

    Hope yet for Scotland?

Georgia would need to win by eight. About as likely as Dana for President, I'd say.

They'd need to win by eight points or more.

If Argentina get 1 point or more, they're through. Lose by more than 7 and score fewer than 4 tries.

Scotland are supposedly already travelling back...

One of the commentators on the SCO v ENG game said they'd already booked their flight home for today - even before that game. Fairly defeatist if you ask me.
They're hardly already flying though. Are they?

I'm very sure that this is a pretty standard thing to do. I've read of it done in rugby and football before. Let's not forget that it isn't the team booking it either, it's their Union booking it for them.

Surely not. Sure they were still well in it today before playing England.

I can't imagine they'd be allowed scarper until they're confirmed out.

So, do Ireland have a flight booked for Monday? I doubt it.

Commentators at the Scotland game said they had the bus booked for after breakfast... Could well be on a plane. Talk about drama, getting off the plane in Dubai to be told they need to go back...

Argies gone a point up again.
I was on the way to bed an hour and a half ago. This thread made me open wine. Now I'm stuck on the couch. Can some one text me the score of our game. I'll probably sleep through it.:pac:

The 30-0 forfeit score would flatter them.

    11-7 to Argentina.
