You can do weight training for cardio

Dunno if its common in all gyms, but mine has a hand-pedalling bike, maybe try that out

Are you still in a cast? If not then you can always swim (if you can) with your legs strapped to a pull buoy! You have to limit your kick so just holding the pull buoy as normal wont do as people tend to kick slightly! Ofcourse get this cleared by your Dr. or Physio 1st!

ye what im doing at the moment is more muscular endurance high reps and light enough weights mostly using the machines has no real effect on me cardio wise though just fatigue's the muscle after 15 + reps my heart rate would be no where near the level i need to try and improve my cardio or at least maintain it. theres no weight bearing cardio exercises that i can think of that i can do with a broken leg, can you recommend any?
