I suppose you get these threads a lot. I am in short, pretty much a skinny Nerd. I'm rather short and my body weight is about 9 stone.

I would just like to learn the best way to build up muscle for a young skinny lad ,who can't afford mad equipment?

I'm very interested in the food I should be eating. I've heard about this "gallon of milk a day" Program. Everyone on-line seems to be giving conflicting reports too. I've heard muscle supplements are the devil, You gotta put on fat first etc?

My body isn't AWFUL at the moment. I'm a pretty energetic guy. I want to focus on a very healthy diet. I'm very new to fitness also. This is coming from a really shy guy who never really played sport :)

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks guys.
