Trikes registered as Robin Relients?

    I was looking at trikes for sale such as the piaggio Mp3 for commuting and came across this:

    Apparently it's a robin relient? Doesn't look like any I've seen!

    Can anyone shed some light on this subject?

    Many trikes were built based on Reliant Robin running gear due to their suitable small rear live axle, and also the fact that they were already registered as a 3 wheeled vehicle, many used part of the chassis and the reliant's engine but this one hasn't kept much apart from the axle and the reg and VIN plate.
    I don't know why so many people say the name the wrong way round though.

    After checking that advert I thought I had it wrong all this time! So it's Reliant Robin so...

    Still, pretty surprised you can drive a trike on a car licence!

    And no NCT either, right?
