    19:45 Drogheda United ? - ? Sligo Rovers
    19:45 Dundalk ? - ? St. Patricks
    19:45 Galway ? - ? Bohemians
Postp. Shamrock Rovers ? - ? Derry City

    September 25
    15:00 Shamrock Rovers ? - ? Bray Wanderers
    September 26

    When will this be played?

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

On Monday night I reckon Sligo will be on 61 with Rovers but ahead on goal difference, Derry stay on 59, Pats next on 58 but probably the trickiest game for the away teams and, if Dundalk hold or beat Pats, Bohs would be ahead of them on 57 as they should get all 6 points.

What do you reckon for tonight lads: St. Pats to beat Dundalk?

For the sake of a bet...

We have 5 players out, think dundalk might sneak it. Really depends on them really.

Dundalk did well in cup game V Bohs last Tues until sending off and Bohs scored after that. May not be the same Dundalk team but with the pitch and home advantage could be a difficult one for Pats. If I had to bet I would go for the draw.

Beating Shams twice this season, would be great to get a hatrick over them. Gary Dempsey coming off on Wednesday wasn't nice, but hopefully he'll make it, although I wouldn't be too hopeful.

Galway at 9/1 (draw no bet) or 12/1 straight up to beat Bohs is a tempter.

Saw a Derry supporter claiming it will be Wednesday October 12. Dunno if that is true

    1-0 Saints O Connor.

Quigley sent off for unknown reasons as Dundalk were bringing the ball to tip off.

Normal service resumed with the red cards so :D

    60' Drogheda United 0 - 2 Sligo Rovers
    60' Dundalk 0 - 2 St. Patricks
    60' Galway 0 - 2 Bohemians

    O Connor x 2

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,558 ✭✭✭✭dreamers75

FT Drogheda United 0 - 3 Sligo Rovers
    FT Dundalk 0 - 2 St. Patricks
    FT Galway 0 - 3 Bohemians

Bah we missed a boat load, would have been nice to get the 3rd and make it neater.

Lads Bohs definitely aren't out of the title race nevermind the race for 4th. We still have to play every team ahead of us and easier games against UCD twice.

    Yes, they are.

They are not going to overtake all four teams above them.

    Not a chance.

I'm not saying they'll win it but only an idiot would rule them out. Win on Monday and we're two behind Rovers and 5 off the top. Pats are beatable at home, we've beaten Sligo this year. Rovers outplayed us twice this year and were lucky to get a draw in Dalyer the first time. I reckon Derry will take it.

No it doesnt really its almost as bad as ours.

    236-01.gif

Our defence is ****ing shocking 28 goals conceded, half that last season, but we scoring for fun last season we struggled for goals this season our strikers have the same amount of goals as our midfield.

7 goals is quite a bit in fairness. If you were to swing it 7 goals the other way it would be the best in the league

Nope but your belief in taking 3rd or 4th is based on you scoring which you are **** at.

reckon the table will stay as is on the final day.

    or something like that..........

Huge game for us tomorrow, need to get back to winning ways. 3 wins and we're promoted, so it's the likes of Athlone, Salthill and Harps we need to bank on winning against.

    Today. ;)

Hopefully it's a calm evening weatherwise.

Bloody wind down there can ruin a game. :(

Hopefully a win, and we slip up against Mon U next week. ;)

Great result from a poor game in Drogheda. First goal killed it off after two minutes. First from Greene was a great finish.

What a cracker of a game in gortakeegan last nite and our lads were rusty from their week off but still managed to get the winner. Sava didn't need to move in 2nd half coz they barely came into our box. Roll on tolka next week.:-D hope athlone do us a favour tonight so that there is only 4 points between us and Shels ahead of next Fri.

Erra Im sure if ye didn't get the late winner, the FAI would have found a way to give ye the 3 points anyway

7 behind with a game in hand and we still have to play them. Rovers have Bray to play who have been their dodgy team and also have Derry, us and Sligo too. Anything's possible

Longford didn't play a player who wasn't allowed play so no, the fai would not have given them the points.

Sorry but you are clearly deluded if you think the FAI would do us any favours! Worry about winning your own games and we will do the same and at the end of the season you will be promoted while some way of keeping us in the first division will be found.

The irony of it all considering the way the FAI shunted your new club up a division before the start of last season and all the leeway it gave the old Cork City.

    C'mon the Reds.

Three points tonight and we're laughing. :)
