Never been tempted, and I still want the magic pixie dust that will make me thin without any work. For what's in them, they are ludicrously overpriced.

I haven't tried it but the name alone says it all. There is no quick fix! anything that claims to burn fat or decrease appetite is either a) not effective or b) has other side effects that would far outweigh any benefits.

I looked into this, apparently they have chemically manufactured a fat that has some science backing it as an agent that reduces appetite (but curiously, no trials report weight loss, I wonder why).

Given our dubious history of manufacturing fat (transfats, olestra, DAG oils) I wouldn't really trust this very novel product. Generally when humans manufacture any food it's a complete disaster filled with unintended consequences.
