It's plural so the question is "Are there any" :)

Yes is the answer. Abs Conditioning Centre on Ballyboggan Road have one, The Edge in Clontarf have one. I'm told Westwood Clontarf have one. I don't know of any others.

You'd swear the prowler was god's gift to conditioning or something :)

lookit, these kinds of comments bug me. So what if someone wants a prowler? Why the need to put a downer on it? Does it do a job that a million other fitness tools could do? Sure, but if someone likes it so the heck what? Sure we all bought into the spiels of all these seemingly magical new fandangled bits and pieces when they arrived on the scene first, what harm is there in someone looking for one specifically?

Not having a good night no...???

Know what bugs me? Everyone ranting and raving about something like it's the ONE thing you need to get better at stuff. Almost all the ex-IPers are like it about the prowler tbh. Yeah, it's a great tool. But you'd swear you're training is suddenly severely handicapped because of it.

And besides.. he got some good answers before I "rained on his parade"!

...oh and just so I can be "helpful".

The Edge normally use it as part of a wider workout on their Wednesday evening and Saturday morning strongman classes. Worth going to one of those.

Why the need to make personal comments?

I see what you're saying but the OP
did none of that, he just asked where he could use a prowler. I'm just at a loss to see why his reasoning needs to come under fire at all.

Ohhh I don't know, maybe something to do with you quoting my post?

I never specifically said the OP did, and then I expanded on it in my later comment. I would have expanded further again but you already did in your one previous to mine.

Speaking of the edge, what way does it work? Do you pay to join or what not? Only down the rown would be grand and handy

Your initial post came off as you being a smart-arse and for no good reason. You followed that by the unnecessary "Not having a good night, no?" comment.

Just chill. if he wants the prowler and you can help, tell him (which you eventually did). if he wants to use it properly or wants to stick it up his arse cos its through latest fad, let him. But there's no point being smarmy in a case like this.

Strongman sessions are a tenner a go as far as I know. Wednesday evening and Saturday mornings.

Other than that, you can only train there if you're being PT'd. I think you can buddy up from like 35 per person.

Well a rant that comes out of nowhere isn't something I just expect to happen.

Lol, yeah, I should totally start being helpful on this forum. THanks for the kind advice. :)

I never said you weren't helpful on here, try re-reading my post. **** it, you've even offered advice to me in the past. But that doesn't alter the fact you came into the thread swinging your giant e-cock over your shoulder.

Lulz. I've said that to plenty of people face to face too. But tell me, when was the last time you called someone out like that in real life? There's only one of us here with an "e-cock".

I'm going to wave my bigger-than-everyone's Moderator e-cock here and close this.

Hanley there's no need to be defensive, and yes, you did take a personal swipe at me which was unwarranted. Advice is great and no-one is denying you give it well, but this was just unsolicited advice that could as easily not been given. That's all.
