Hope this is ok, for talk during the matches, etc. Kept getting in trouble in the gambling forum, for talking about the game.

Reckon AUS are going to field a strong team, and try bounce back from the defeat to Ireland. They have a point to prove. Have AUS at -46 myself.

    I got Australia at -44.

I thing Australia will hammer USA. Australia will be out to prove a point after the Ireland game. The USA first side were a poor side, so I'm presumming the second side won't be any better ha.

Australia: 15 Kurtley Beale, 14 Adam Ashley Cooper, 13 Anthony Faingaa, 12 Robert Horne, 11 Drew Mitchell, 10 Quade Cooper 9 Will Genia (c), 8 Wycliff Palu, 7 Ben McCalman 6 Scott Higginbotham, 5 Nathan Sharpe, 4 Rob Simmons, 3 Ben Alexander, 2 Tatafu Polota Nau, 1 James Slipper.
Replacements: 16 Stephen Moore, 17 Sekope Kepu, 18 Dan Vickerman, 19 Radike Samo, 20 Luke Burgess, 21 Berrick Barnes, 22 Pat McCabe.

USA: 15 Blaine Scully, 14 Colin Hawley, 13 Tai Enosa, 12 Junior Sifa, 11 Kevin Swiryn, 10 Nese Malifa, 9 Tim Usasz (c), 8 JJ Gagiano, 7 Pat Danahy, 6 Inaki Basauri, 5 Hayden Smith, 4 Scott LaValla, 3 Eric Fry, 2 Phil Thiel, 1 Shawn Pittman.
Replacements: 16 Brian McClenahan, 17 Matekitonga Moeakiola, 18 Louis Stanfill, 19 Nic Johnson, 20 Mike Petri, 21 Roland Suniula, 22 Chris Wyles.

Thats a B&I Cup standard team the Americans have put out, with more of the same on the bench. I'm really hoping its a dry day.

Nice. I wasn't on the ball and waited until they had been pushed out to -60. Still reckon they'll put up a score. 14 changes to the USA side.

USA are in for some backlash, the Aussies hate losing but to come off the back of being bullied off the park by a Northern Hemisphere team.... this could be a serious try fest.

The Wallabies are lucky to be facing that USA pack and not a Georgia or a Romania, imagine the Aus media reaction if a country they never heard of playing rugby was able to bully them at scrum time.

I done the "Aussie Rules" special in PP (14/1). Australia to score 100 points or more so I'm hoping they'll rack up a BIG score :D

Ah I get ya now. Had them at +60. Was thinking of lumping on them at over 80 when the score was 73-0. 5 mins left. I didn't. Then saw them run in 2 try's. Sickened.

I'm sickened I didnt get on Australia -46. Should have known it would be no contest.

Gorgeous line from Beale off a Quade Cooper break, Horne in the corner.

Gorgeous line from Beale off a Quade Cooper break, Horne in the corner.

What were the Americans doing giving the ball to the Aussies back 3 like that though. Madness. How the touch judge missed Cooper touch the ball on it's way to touch a few mins back is beyond me too.

Can't read the bloody forum thanks to those ****ing spammers.

Cooper is going to cost me Aus -60. Two missed conversions.

    Elsom scored Oz's 2nd try.

should be 21-0 by now instead of 10-0 with USA camped on the line. Aussies need to get their act together fast.

Great stuff from the Eagles. 5m scrum on Australia's line.

Brilliant stuff from the US forwards

Some good ball retention there by the US team (if a little lacking in go forward momentum)

Too easy a try for the US. Fair play to them though. USA, USA, USA!

Great passage of play, well deserved try, who are the guys in white and what have they done with the american amateurs..? ;-)

Don't get me wrong - still expecting a cricket score from Aus..

Totally against the run of play. Third try for the Aussies. Elsom did well but poor defending from the Yanks.

No love for the little guy then

I for one think that strong showings from the likes of the USA against the top nations is MASSIVELY beneficial to rugby in general. I hope the USA go on to score one or two more tries and put it up to the Aussies who are obviously going to pull away now.

Yeah but its not massively beneficial to my pocket. Aussies need to out 60 past them in second half :D

It does. And not only that but makes it downright horrible at times. Its no way to be watching games to be honest.

I enjoy the occasional 'nothing' bet, like a a euro or two on some off the wall bets.

Actually, in the Clermont home game last December, I had two quid on Cian Healy to score a hat-trick at 250/1

    Soooooo close......

Come on Australia, get a try out of this

    How long left?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,915 ✭✭✭MungBean

Regardless of bets this is a pretty miserable display from Australia. For a world cup contender facing a second string minnow team its pretty pathetic.
