Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas says he has been told by owner Roman Abramovich to blood his younger players in the Carling Cup.

The likes of Josh McEachran, Romelu Lukaku, Oriol Romeu and Ryan Bertrand will start alongside fit-again striker Didier Drogba.

Fulham are without injured defender Aaron Hughes, who is nursing a hamstring problem.

Danny Murphy and Brede Hangeland are among those likely to be rested.
