I was banned from the GAA forum by cruiserweight for a post saying I was not sent a PM and it was only when I took it upon myself to PM cruiserweight that I was told I was banned for abusing a player. I was banned from the GAA forum by cruiserweight for a post saying

I was not sent a PM and it was only when I took it upon myself to PM cruiserweight that I was told I was banned for abusing a player. When I asked what player it was I was supposed to have abused he told me to take it here.

3 issues I have;

1) I did not abuse any specific player
2) I was not sent a PM by the mod in question
3) I am still none the wiser as to the duration of the ban

I'd appreciate if someone could look into this.

You're banned for 7 days. It's odd that you didn't get a PM outlining this.

On the issue itself: You were obviously referring to a specific player. Let's not try to pedant our way around that. That's in breach of the forum charter. The ban stands.
