    Hi All,

recently I've been diagnosed with a rare spinal disorder called Syringomyelia. Having this disorder means I can't do any kind of high impact physical activities including running, strength training and contact sports. Being a very active and fit person (I used to run 60 km/week plus strength training 5 times a week), this is kind of a shock to the system to me. I was wondering, does anyone have a clue on what kind of physicalactivity that I can do with my condition? As far as I can see, walking and stationary recumbent bike are the ones that I can probably do? Can someone recommend me a Personal Trainer who has experience of working with people that have Syringomyelia/Spinal disorders?

OP, you are kinda on the border of medical advice here.

Any responses should only be recommending a physio. Noone here can offer you advice as we are not medically qualified to deal with the limits of your condition
