Good morning everyone. I have a question to those who knows;)
I'm in weightlifting and trying to gain as much muscle as possible but I have a little problem here with my work schedule. I work nights, 4 nights in, 3 off and this makes my work out days a bit awkward. I have 3 days off in a row: Tue, Wed and Thu. I train in the mornings and do a full body workout (my trainer made a program for me). But the problem is I can only train 3 days in a row of full body training. I know that ideally I'd need at least 1 day rest period in between my workouts but this way i would have to go to gym straight after work on monday, than normal workout on wednsday and then again after night of work on friday. So, in your opinion, what will be more beneficial: going to gym after work and train hard or train full body hard for 3 days in a row?
Thanks in advance, i appreciate your time and help.

Your post is hard to read. Edit it to include paragraphs or bullet points.

What does your full body workout include?

What does the other workout include? (if if there is another one - cannot really understand)

If you're killing yourself 3 days in a row this will not be optimal.

When you go to work is irrelevant really. I mean u work for 10 or so hours? so that leaves 14 hours to work out in.

Work out two of your days off taking the middle day off as a break. And then workout out one other day. Even if its a short one it'd be more beneficial than not letting your body recover.

Although i cant see how you cant fit a workout into any of the other days

I apologize if my English got you confused. All I wanted to ask was this: what is better, working out on my days off but 3 days in a row OR going to gym every other day after 10 hours of working at night.
The details of my workout are not important as it would be exactly the same no matter what schedule I will choose, the only difference would be the days I'm working out on.
As I see by the poll's results it's better to stop exercising 3 days in a row and start doing it every other day. I thought so myself, just wasn't sure if it is a good idea to workout after work.
Thank you very much for your help and good luck to all of you;)

Spread your work outs over the whole week.
There is no reason you aren't able to workout on the same day as a night shift. Either before or after work, which ever is better
