Sorry if this has already been mentioned but like the Lion King and Ghostbusters, Jurassic Park is returning to the cinema. In Cineworld on the 23rd of September.
This was the first movie I saw on the big screen and I can't wait to see it there again.

Glad its on general release. If anyone hasn't seen this on the big screen I'd strongly urge them to do so now while they have the chance.
Watching the T-rex break out of its paddock
on a huge cinema screen is what going to the movies is all about.
Do I need to use spoiler tags for an 18 year old movie?

Ooooooh to see that T-Rex scene again on the big screen worth be worth the price of admission alone.

Especially since I saw a real T-Rex skull at the Natural History Museum over in London a few weeks back I kept thinking of this film :pac:

Its so fantastic to see this out on the big screen again!

It was the first movie I ever saw in the Cinema, and its still unsurpassed imo. Nothing has captured my imagination quite like this since.

Of course, I HAVE grown up in the meantime, so maybe thats got something to do with it :)

With the bluray coming out soon (next month methinks), will this be a better quality digital projection or the oldschool one?

Hi all, just wondering what do you think would be the best cinema in Dublin City Centre to see Jurassic Park? I'll be down in Dublin friday night and just basically want to see it in a cinema that has a good atmosphere and nice patrons.

I know its in Cineworld but was curious about Screen Cinema, it seems like a specialist cinema. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I would imagine that given the amount of cinemas that are showing it, that it is a digital copy; I can't imagine they have the reels around or would have put the effort into making them when there is no real need.

Probably - there are loads of seats available for the shows in Dundrum, I would be surprised it it differed elsewhere.

Is this being showed for the next week or just tonight? It looks like a couple of cinemas have it listed for the next week but I thought it was only being showed for one night?

It's on general release, so most places should be showing it for at least a week or so.

Delighted :D. I was going mad that I couldn't make it tonight, it being one of my favouite film and being too young to go and see it when it originally came out.

Can't wait to see this now.

Wow... to be honest, it was far better than I remember... fantastic. Brought my daughter (11) and her pal and they loved it too. Type of film that just has to be watched at the cinema. Fact.

the opening is still fantastic. I love the scene where the raptors are being fed and Hammond just looks over at Grant watching in awe at whats going on, his expression says everything.

My missus has seen JP a load of times but still jumped, when the raptor comes through the cables towards Ellie
