Can I make my TV 'network aware'?

Our TV has a USB port and I've been dutifully converting / transferring media from the PC to the TV on a USB stick.

But we do have Wifi and network storage in the house - so I'm wondering is there a device out there that will attach via usb to the television and connect to the network storage, making the TV think that the USB device contains the media.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks for reading,
    Ten
