Nutrition Courses

    Hi guys,
     
    Just wondering can anyone recommend courses for nutrition etc that can be done online?
     
    I've gotten into the gym over the past 18 months and I also have my food in order but I've actually really gotten interested in how the nutritional side works - how food is composed, the affect on the body, X foods for X results etc
     
    Normally I just meet a personal trainer every now and again and discuss my diet with them but I would like to try take it a step further and know this stuff for myself.
     
    Also getting some sort of qualification would be nice and have something to work from if I ever did decide to take things further.
     
    I'm really only starting out my investigations so all advice is appreciated.

    There is little true and a lot of myths in school/courses. I didn't gain anything from the courses, just did it to have qualification, that's all.
    Most common myths:
    Calories count
    Carbs are main source of energy
    Saturated fats are bad/ Unsaturated are good
    etc

    Edit: Try e-learn uk for any courses

    can u just tell me in a sentence why calories don't count.
    are you saying that you can eat 10,000 calories of meat,veg and nuts a day and you won't gain weight?

    10,000? probably some athletes would consume that amount of food
    but you can easily eat 3,000 - 5,000 calories and still loose weight

    Pennington's diet had 3,000 and people still would reduce there weight:
