The last Diamond League meeting of the year is on tomorrow night from Brussells on BBC Two and BBC HD from 7pm.

Bolt is running as far as I know and I heard Kenenisa Bekele is on the entry list for the 10,000m but unfortunately that event is before the BBC coverage starts :(

Looking forward to it, been to this twice and it's the second best meet of the year after Zurich imo, always a great atmosphere in the Heysel stadium for it.

Leaving the Bolt/Blake avoiding each other issue behind it will be interesting to see what Blake can do over 200m (19.6 possibly). The mens 800m will be a cracker with all the big names lining up, along with Kiprop. only pity is that they're ending with the mens 5k, which looks fairly weak compared to the other events. Womens 3k steeple could well be a WR too with Zaripova and Chemos in the line up.

My BBC2 is showing rugby on Friday night, is it on anywhere else?

It's on BBC HD apparently. Stupid f****g rugby. I hate it when BBC puts on "local" sport like that instead of Athletics. I guess I should be more interested in GAA and local rugby but I'd rather watch an Athletics event any day of the week.

Thankfully I have BBC HD so I just hope they stick to the plan of showing it there.

BBC London is showing the athletics. Best thing about not living in Ireland anymore is you don't have to put up with that bbc northern ireland and utv crap. I'll be looking for a internet stream for the 10k i'll post it on here. From Sport is usually your best bet.

They almost always stream this online via the BBC website but usually block it to people outside the UK. However there are ways around this. You can use a UK proxy and access the site that way. I have done that in the past to view stuff online that I normally wouldn't be able to view because of my location.

The From Sport site is just bringing up some sort of test card instead of the video?

He has the world leading time this year with that run, not bad for your first full race back.

Jeter class act. Dai Greene on his marks...and finishes second and wins the DL.

    Confusing with nine lanes...

Blake would have beaten him tonight, following wind helped him out there.

There was no bolt or gay in Daegu. I think he's better than both of them now.

Well done Cragg. Great theatre by Chicherova - three attempts at the WR and well done the Beeb for following it.

Pleased for Cragg but somethings makes me feel that i'd be happier if Mark Carroll still held it. Not sure why?

Maybe because Mark is a total legend.

Really good event, am sad that's the Diamond League over for this year.

Yep, that could be it. When Cragg came out of Arkansas i didnt think it would take him this long to take the 5k record.

Heard an interview with him early in they year about really increasing his mileage with the Mara training maybe that was the missing link all these year. Either that or he is jsut in a happy place in his life right now to, seems really happy with his training group etc.

Really enjoyed both the 5k & 10k, great stuff. Well done Cragg & Rupp

I was supposed to go to the Rome Diamond League event this year but finances prevented that. I need to go to go to at least one next year myself.
