HTC Desire S ::How to Disable Conversation Style In Text Messages?

Does any of you know it is possible to disable the conversation style for text messages on the Desire S? . I really prefer a separate in box and s separate box for my send messages. Most of the messages I send and receive are not conversations, so for me it isn't a good option for me.

Any apps or settings? Or is it possible to 'set up' an inbox & sent items box anyway?

Not possible in the stock SMS app as far as I know.
if you install Go SMS Pro this has an Inbox/Outbox view

Thanks Mega Chin. Seems odd that there is no option to just get single text messages rather than threads/conversations.
Only got the phone last Friday & have to say, its the one feature that's really driving me to distraction

Its just not a done thing anymore. In general conversations are a lot easier to keep track of and are the norm now

Can you at least limit how many texts are within one conversation?

You can set them to clear out after whatever limit you want in the settings menu and lock 1s you dont want deleted by pressing individual messages.
Also if you install SMS Backup + you can back everything up to your gmail

do you have the option to start a new converstation with a contact and save keep the old one intact. on the S2

i like to keep most of my texts but fear after a while it will take an age to load up conversation.

I think it just automatically piles them together once theyre going to the same contact. I really think people who want to keep their texts should just use SMS Backup + and if they want to find anything they can search their gmail

It doesn't. I haven't deleted a text in more than 2 years, have more than 6,500 texts, and conversations with more than 1,000 messages in them. Even the longest ones take less than 5 seconds to open on the default Messaging app, and my phone is fairly crap (nowhere near the SGS, nevermind the SGS2)
