Hi all, The AutoSave Draft feature is now disabled across the site. The decision to disable the feature was made via a poll last year. The delay in putting it in place was due to a bug/update issue. This should serve as a reminder to manually save your drafts if you wish to keep them. Thanks, The Boards Team.

    Hi there,

I have a toning question that i hope someone might be able to help with .
I know you cant spot reduce but i was wondering if anyone would have advice on what i can do to tone up my calves. Theyre not THAT bulky but i would like to slim them down and loose a few inches off them.

any advice that anyone could offer would be great!

Lose overall weight and add some resistance work on the legs :)
Squats for overall leg work and maybe some calf raises if you really want shapely calves.
Calf muscles don't tend to get big very easily so I wouldn't worry about getting too big there.

    EDIT:

Sorry, re-read that and you want to "lose" size on the calves?
If it's fat, well then it's overall fat loss that will be your pal.
If it's muscle well, that'll be genetics (if you are not training and have this shape), so best shape it up!

Like above, concentrate on overall weight loss.
