    Hi all,

I am using my parents old sky+ box. There is a programme in the planner that featured my brother on tv.

When they closed their account I took their sky+ box as a replacement for my standard box.

The problem is I can't watch the programmes that were already saved on the planner. I assume this is because it's a different viewing card/account than was used to make the recording.

QUESTION: Is there a way to view (or export) this programme?

ps. My parents have since reconnected to sky but I assume this will be a new account and new viewing card so I assume it won't work with their new viewing card.

    Suggestions welcome

have you got a sky sub?
if you have just ring sky and ask them to pair your card.

Hi John. I got the card paired to the box when I installed it. No joy. Still blocked.
