Personally i wouldnt recommend them. the touch aint the best. but this aint a discussion thread so. but all i can say from experience is do your home work and the charging port may may! break after few weeks form constant plug in plug out. due to the battery life being gobbled up. otherwise there grand on charge. :pac:

Just giving my insight we have something along the same lines and the port has broken.

Ok in my experience the screen was plastic really with glass underneath. there was a slight bubble at one side which messed the touch. its not great at multi tasking, no flash on mine varies but check., slow and can constantly tell you app forced to close. skype never really worked with the camera it had. and wouldnt record sound. only picture. Typing was ok till you would have to keep pressing the button then it would come round there was a slight delay when typing you would have a sentence done then when finished it would appear on screen i loved that do . like magic ha ha if you dont care about resolution your ok. but to me it looked blurry. we paid 142 for ours so.... thats what we got for it. at the price it is above its still over priced IMO . but you never know i could have just got a lemon Grand for G Maps and Browsing

cheers fort that.....just gonna keep expectations fairly low and hope for the best so...for 50 odd quid id take some decent browsing and maps tbh

If this is the same as the epad et al there are roms that improve things however to put things in perspective my €29 samsung europa gets around 1900 in the quadrant benchmark this will probably be more like 500.

I seriously doubt that, the Europa is total bottom of the barrel for Droid. This would put it to shame.

Totally agree with partyatmygaff, I dont think this is a good choice if you really want a tablet for good use and want to keep long

I got 1900 in quadrant with cyanogenmod 7.1 and overclocked to 768MHz, the max anyone seems to have got on those tabs is one guy got 570 with a custom rom ... and thats the benchmark that the people selling them in hong kong are quoting now. Before cyanogenmod and overclocking the europa only got 527 in the benchmark as you say bottom of the barrel and a crap screen but it should give people an indication of what to expect.

if you want to browse net only these things are ok. but flash won't work on them well at all really. I have a similar device and it's pretty ok for net browsing. at a pinch will play low-res divx avi's at a just about watchable framerate. not good for anything else though really and battery life is 2 hours. if this meets your needs then go for it. otherwise it's a false economy and you will be disappointed.
