    Hi,

I've just recently qualified and I'm wondering where do people bring their clients to train when they don't want a PT to come to their home. I've priced a place in town that charges a room by the hour but it'll cost me half of what I'm charging the client.

    Any ideas anyone?

Buy a portacabin, put it at the side of your house or somewhere.

You could try Fitness worx in Douglas. I do some Personal Training there sometimes and they charge me a tenner for an hour.

Would insurance not be a nightmare - and you'd need a wide range of equipment for clients with varying goals.

Do regular gyms not do deals for Personal Trainers? I've no idea as I've no experience in the industry but you'd think it would be a good idea for gyms as they have the equipment anyway and may gain the clients membership fee upon completion.

Some existing personal trainers may be on and share their experience though.

I think the main thing starting out will be gaining a reputation as opposed to making big money.
