Creatine for muscle development, do you use it?
What are the pros and cons?
I've been resistance training for about a year now and have seen good gains, would just like to be more informed about supplements.

it's absorbed into your muscles as creatine phosphate, when you take it. some people use a 'loading' phase of a few days of high dosage to build up stores quickly, followed by a maintenance phase. the idea is that at ATP is used up in your muscles by exercise, the creatine replenishes it in the very short term, thus allowing you to get an extra couple reps per set or such. the extra creatine in your muscles also draws extra water into the cells, making the muscle seem larger.

    i find it quite good.

    I use it.

    Pros :
You gain water weight within a few days of taking it making you look 'fuller' giving you a bit of a mental boost if nothing else
You can lift slightly more weight

    Cons :
Some people complain about looking bloated due to the water weight, I've never had this problem but I've never been < 10% bf which is where it actually might make any difference

Bout it! The fact that it enables you to do more work makes me believe you can get better results. IMO it is one of the very few worthwhile supplements. If I was to take only one supplement it would be creatine.
