I've bought Catan Junior and Ticket to Ride First Journeys today, they're Xmas presents for the kids so won't be playing them for a while.

This guy is usually pretty good at explaining games. There's others on youtube if his voice grates.

Santa delivered Sushi Go Party and King of New York to the kids, they're both quite good. Kids are going through a real board game phase at the moment, they're playing a lot of Love Letter, and Splendor.

any recommendations for single player board game?

i like rpg, but not limited to it. liked the look of Dark Souls board game (online blurb says it can be single player) but its 80 quid and not sure its worth it ...

On topic of single player games, Tin Helm and Dustrunner from Grey Gnome games arrived yesterday.

Haven't had a chance to play yet, but looked promising in the reviews.

Average game takes about 30 mins.

Picked them up in January sale for $15 each.

An post added €11 customs and admin charges, so about €40 all in.
