Stiff as a board after some mental triathlons and vowing not to overdo it next season : )
Planning to try some yoga over the winter to work on my inflexibility. Can anyone recommend a suitable class, city centre or Kimmage/Terenure?

I do a bit of running and find the yoga good. Not exactly city centre but only a few minutes on the bike, I go to the classes at the Wisdom Centre on Cork St. I do one evening a week but I think there's morning and lunchtimes as well as evenings. Can't find her number off hand but the main office is 473 8300 they can tell you

I play a lot of sport and did a 1 day yogo / meditation workshop with http://www.dublinbuddhistcentre.org/yoga.htm a few weeks ago - Near Connolly, lunch & evening time options. Good value and better than any gym yoga classes I've tried. Will be doing more classes here.

would highly recomend Keith at http://www.freestyleyoga.ie/classes.php. I took up yoga as am incredibly inflexible and increased running made me worse. Few classes and I felt a million times better and now go every week.

Instructor is a sound lad and usually few other guys in the class so dont feel to crap compared to everyone else

Thanks for all the advice lads/lassies. I tried 2 places last week. Samadhi in Temple Bar one evening, class of mostly beginners, patient teacher, i found it tough to be honest and a bit pricey. The other one was the Wisdom Centre that you recommended. This was dead handy because it's on my route home from work at a perfect time. Cheaper and busier with a few other fellas, mixed ability but alternative stuff given for novices as we went along. I'll be going back this week. Anyone else interested, the teacher is Estelle Birdy 086 7941624
