Dear mod God, make the bad man with who mentioned Christmas outside of the Christmas forum go away.

Let this be a lesson to others. Release thy rath, the fury, the glory that is... your finger.

    k tks bai.

And you won't believe the amount of people who will be out on Xmas eve searching for selection boxes and tins of roses even tho they've been on sale since 8th Sept...

I have to agree tho. Leave each season/holiday have it's own time. time enough after Halloween to start Xmas..

Am I the only one who doesn't understand what the feck a load of chocolate bars, which are available all year 'round, packed together in a rectangular box has to do with Christmas?

Christmas cards up in M&S today.

Harrods and Selfridges in London had there Christmas shop open in July, though suppose they have it that early to catch the tourist trade.

I had a craving for brussel sprouts all week. Are they in the shops yet?

They are starting to sell easter eggs in my tecso!

I love crimbo its about 5 years since ive been in Ireland for it though, heading off on the 23rd again this year,so happy Christmas everyone :)

How much are they?? Whats the special deal, they are gettign cheaper every year, which is great..

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 42 Bueller

A vaguely-Christmas themed box of cheap chocolate bars. Why not?

It's when the same 6 or 7 Chrimbo songs provide the BGM for every single shop that you start to grind your teeth - it'll happen after Halloween (or even before then in some of the nastier places)

I shall leave this one to the old Loudo who as per usual says/sings it best.

    Its the first song BTW.

Was a selection box not one of the gifts the three wise men brought to Jesus?

Sure Tesco has a 3 for 1 deal if anyone fancies picking up the two other gifts of a tube of jelly beans and a chocolate reindeer.

Mince pies on sale yesterday at the check out at the Marks & Spencers food shop in the IFSC. Xmas decorations, cards, wrapping paper on display today at the mother ship M&S store in Henry St. PJ's with Santy and snow flakes on sales in Dunnes. And there I am knocking around the town in a Tshirt on a warm and muggy day in September. Madness !!!

Was in Tesco on Tuesday and they were playing Christmas songs.

We really shouldn't be forced to endure Christmas from the beginning of September.
