Looking forward to this big time tomorrow night. Was away for most of the friendlies so first live Leinster game of the season!

Love to see Brendan Macken have a big game in the centre, tonnes of potential.

Scrappy Leinster win in a low scoring game would be my prediction for this one.

I'm happy that Willis is getting a swansong for Leinster at the end of his career. Had so much potential at schools level, seemed to struggle with the hype when he first turned pro. Genuine sound lad though, good luck to him.

Hook is just after saying EOM should be in NZ ahead of Paddy Wallace

Nacewa is an absolute tank when he's running with the ball in hand! I'd hate to be on the end of one of those hits!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,599 ✭✭✭✭CIARAN_BOYLE

Madigan hasn't managed to overtake Nacewa as a place kicker over the summer.

    Leinster 3 Dragons 0

He'll be saying Brendan Macken should be there instead of Earls by the end of the game (and he's sixth coffee)

Going to be 2/3 yellows in this game

D Kearney looking really good again. Madigan's passing is brilliant.

    We're not great again though.

Thats a strength of his. People have suggested that he move to SH but I don't think its viable really.

ahh your only saying that to cheer me up ;)

Its good to see Leinster trying carry on spinning it with pace and running straight, its simple but highly effective

    Hex, successful

Leinster looking very ropey here. Take Nacewa out of that team and they're 6 points down

Willis was complaining about his eye just before half time, and hagans eye looks pretty bloodshot.

Leinster have a secure lineout?? typical hookism

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,976 ✭✭✭profitius

Poor game so far. They need to have a bit more patience and settle down a bit.

I thought I saw the doc looking at one of them but didnt realise it was his eye. You'd have a certain amount of concern now after the last couple of weeks, hope he's ok.

Why Car isn't involved with Ireland i don't know.

I thought the doc was checking for concussion

Because he played for Connacht. If he gets into the 23 for HEC matches at Leinster then I will be a bit surprised.

between competing with Kearney, Nacewa, Fitz, and Horgan to start in the back three. McFadden will take a bench spot due to utility. Where does Carr really fit in, for Leinster. Never mind Ireland when Trimble, Bowe and Earls are added to the competition on the wing.

Should be ahead of Darragh Hurley who started for Ireland select XV against Connacht though.

He's too fast, too elusive and scores too many tries

Down with that sort of thing

Try for Dragons, poor defence there for Leinster.

Form with Connacht doesn't count. Every journo mentioning how Hagan should be in NZ as well, fact is he didn't get a look in last year because he wasn't playing for the big 3.

It might be different this season if a Connacht guy goes very well in the HEC he should get his chance.

The excuse for not giving Connacht players there shot was they are doing well but they had no high level exposure. Connacht lads will get their shot at HEC this season.

    Still too many errors.

  • Site Banned Posts: 5,346 ✭✭✭wixfjord

Bit surprised with all these subs, I would have left Willis and Madigan to go for the 4 tries.

  • Hagan might be better than Ross already

  • Site Banned Posts: 5,346 ✭✭✭wixfjord

It's certainly not Steffan Jones time Darragh, considering that's Jamie Smith.
