Was I bitten?

Just got a story and a question arising out of it that a boardsie may or may not be able to answer.

When I woke up on Tuesday I had a very sore left elbow and couldn't really lift it easily and it was swelling up slightly. The swelling meant by elbow was quite spongy and eventually went red. This was odd as there was no problem before I went to bed on Monday but I guessed I had banged by arm off the bed board or something while asleep. During Tuesday I developed a headcold and a tempeture and slight shivers. I'm getting over it now, the elbow swelling is going down and it will be fine by tomorrow or saturday.

What I'm asking myself now out of curiousity was it possible that I was bitten by something as I slept? And if so what?

    Cheers

Sorry but boards is not webmd. Get yourself to a doctor and checked out.

Nah I wouldn't waste my time or money, if I suddenly start to become more hirsute and begin howling at the moon I'll consult by GP immediately.

    For real?

I see no good to come from this, if it's an issue that you think requires a visit to your GP, then go. Unless we watch you sleep, how can we really know!
