Ok so struggling to come up with food without wheat, especially lunches and looking for some suggestions. I'm finding there is only so much salad i can eat so i need some other options. And i would have eaten alot of things like breaded chicken or soups (like cambells) for dinner but they all have wheat, so if anyone can offer any alternatives they would be much appreciated!

Make your own soup? Use wheat free stock. Jacket potato, rice dish/salad, oak cakes and toppings, quinoa, rye bread sandwich, sushi, dinner leftovers, polenta, Lettuce wrap?

They're not going to eat just fruit for dinner, in fairness.

Hey OP, are you on a no wheat or no gluten diet? If it's just no wheat but you can eat gluten then you can buy spelt flour/pasta/bread from the health food shops, it tastes almost exactly the same as wheat but people who are wheat intolerant seem to be able to eat it just fine.

Pasta is a great place to start as it's so easy to replace, there are loads of wheat free pastas available. Try Millet pasta (it's a type of grain and it's gluten free), spelt pasta as above or Bunalun (the organic brand available in Dunnes) do an excellent gluten free pasta. The important thing with wheat free pastas is to cook them for amount of time it says on the pack, they normally cook in 3-4 minutes :)

I made a gorgeous recipe for chicken fillets stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in parma ham, might fill your bread chicken kiev craving?

On soup obviously making your own is a great idea (get wheat free stockcubes in the healthfood shop) but I'm 99% sure that Cully & Sully soups are gluten & wheat free so that would be good instant soup. *Edit Yes they are!

And most of all don't think of this as a horrible diet, think of how amazing you're going to feel when the wheat is gone and you start feeling amazing!

For lunches you should try a selection of cottage cheese, baby spinach, broccoli, tins of 3 bean salad, tinned tuna or mackerel, Quinoa cooked in veg stock, hummous, brown rice ... you can make a really nice dressing with natural yogurt, cumin, salt and lemon juice!
