Every advert on telly to do with McDonalds mentions the special offers on the "Euro saver menu". Where is this bloody menu ? I've never seen it in McDonalds. Am I missing something ? Seems so cheap as well

I thought they got rid of that? They used to always have big signs up for it.

Yes you are missing them. Any McDonalds I've been in has a euro saver menu. Hamburger for €1 , double cheeseburger €2 , 6 nuggets €2 etc.

oh yeah, I think I've seen it, they cunningly hide it on an illuminated board above the counter, I think they call it a menu

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,281 ✭✭✭Valentina

It's still available. Usually has 6 items or so on it, cheeseburger for €1, sundae for €1 and so forth.

The eurosaver was good when it first came out , now its rather pointless most of the things on it are over a euro

The Burger King €3.50 recession buster meal was fúckin champion. It said "take that Mr. Cowen!". They stopped it now though. Still have better deals and better tasting food than McDonalds.

He makes fine gravy but you need it to cover the otherwise inedible greasy mutant chicken.

In the words of the late, great Colonel Sanders...."I'm too drunk to taste this chicken".

I have been unable to find any stories on Google News saying Burger King food is composed of dog-shít. Can you explain please?

Umm... sometimes when people say something is ****e they don't actually mean it's made of actual poo. Sorry you didn't get that memo.

Was in MCDonald's in daunt square yesterday and they charged me 1.20 each for the supposedly one euro hamburgers on the euro saver menu.

I thought "oh well theyve gone up, that sucks"

But I was just in the Midleton branch and they're still a euro.

Bastards in daunt square ripping off the public.

I haven´t eaten in either BK or McD in about 15 years. *Snort*

Would a burger from a chipper not be nicer and cheaper?

I read that title in an irritating soulless dublin brogue

I was in Mc Donald's (why oh why) in Cork the other night. At about 11ish they took down the euro saver menu and replaced it with some fancy chicken burger thing menu.. Maybe they change it at certain times?

Their burgers are better than McD's IMO. Though nowhere near BK. Their range is all round OK, but not the best for any one thing.

    Definitely not cheaper.

Supermac's do nicer burgers than either of them. However their prices are ridiculous.

I got one of those the other day. It was the first time I'd eaten in McDonalds in years. It was grand for the price but what's with the slimy gerkin things?

Hmmm advertising a chicken burger on the euro saver menue for €1.50... I thought the things cost you one euro (like it shows the guy finding €1 in the add)... Apparently not! False advertising ...
    outrageous Joe ..

The burgers in Mc Donalds are as flat as a witches tit. BK is not too bad. Supermacs is awful. It takes them about 20 minutes to get your food ready and their fries are always cold. Ye can't beat KFC.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,708 ✭✭✭BeardySi

Funny thing about the Euro/Pound saver menus - they usually only advertise it when they've put up the prices. They add 10p/c to items and then advertise their new prices and tell you how much of a bargain they are...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,337 ✭✭✭Wishiwasa Littlebitaller

Why not try the 'Health Saver Menu' at.. almost any other eatery.

Fcuking doctors bills will soon into any euros you save eating that bloody muck.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,480 ✭✭✭Chancer3001

3 burgers and a sundae for 4 euro.

Solid, solid start to any mans day.

1.50 for a chilli chicken burger is actually pretty good.
