Netgear Rangemax & UPC

I recently switched from Magnet to UPC. I had a Netgear RangeMax WNR854T hooked up to the back of my Magnet box via a 5 metre ethernet cable and managed to get wifi satisfactorily at the extremeties of the house. I tried the same set up on my Thomson box from UPC and I get no internet signal to the Negear unit at all. Help…
